Dr. Christian Osmond is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s School of Veterinary Medicine. After he earned his doctorate degree in veterinary medicine, he completed an internship in medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, California. Dr. Osmond then completed his 3 year residency in small animal surgery at North Carolina State University.
He has broad clinical interests including both soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurosurgery. He spent one year at the Comparative Orthopedic Research Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he worked on several projects including shoulder and knee surgery as it relates to developing treatments for arthritis. Additionally, he has a strong interest in oncology (cancer) surgery, as well as minimally invasive surgery and pain management.
When away from work, Dr. Osmond enjoys spending time with his wife, Linda and his pets: Taz, Spot, and Piper. He also enjoys flying airplanes and most outdoor activities such as biking, skiing, and backpacking.
